Eligibility Criteria for Evaporative Cooling Vent Seals
To be eligible for an evaporative cooling vent seal upgrade under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, you must meet the following criteria:
• Property : The property where the upgrade takes place must be in Victoria as residence with current electric, water and gas connection.
• Customer : The person who is authorising the upgrade must be 18 Years and over.
• System Type: Your home must be equipped with an evaporative cooling system that is suitable for vent sealing.
• Existing evaporative sealing outlet/vent has no sealing installed.
• Prior Claims: You must have NOT received this same evaporative cooling vent seals upgrade through the VEU program.
• Product Approval : The vent covers used for the upgrade must be approved and listed on the VEU Register of Products.
Note:
Both homeowners and tenants are eligible for this upgrade. For rental properties, it’s recommended that tenants and landlords collaborate on the upgrade.
